Selva Kumar is a scientist-turned-entrepreneur with a great resilience to solve difficult chemistry problems and differentiate DSK InnoSciences from the rest of CROs as the most reliable Chemistry CRO. After receiving his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the prestigious institution, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, he completed two post-doctoral positions, one in the University of Alberta, Canada and the other in Iowa State University, United States.

He started his career as a medicinal chemist in 1999 at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad and reached the level of Senior Director having gained eight years of Drug Discovery experience. After his successful stint at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, he served as the Vice-President - Discovery at Anthem Biosciences, Bangalore, for about three years.

After serving the two companies in leadership positions, he pursued his vision to establish a services Company that differentiates in research and delivery with a special emphasis on innovation. Today, his vision to establish a research-based Chemistry Services Company has become a reality with many satisfied clients across the globe.
